Bonnie Sandvold, Director of Under Christ's Care Ministries (After School and Summer Care)

Bonnie joined the staff of Abiding Savior on August 1st, 2007 as Director of After School and Summer School Age Ministries.
Through the equipping and strengthening of the Lord, Bonnie has felt blessed to have worked with children for many years. She has worked as a head teacher and administrator for an area daycare as well as working for the Sioux Falls Public school system. She has had the privilege of ministering to children through CEF, Good News Club, Sunday School and a wide variety of children's ministries.
She and her husband Matt have two children, Kelsey and Alex. They enjoy spending time on their boat, tubing and camping in the summer. They winter months will find the family still enjoying the outdoors. While the rest of the family enjoys skiiing, Bonnie chooses a more moderage activity of snowshoeing (walking). Bonnie enjoys reading, baking, and a wide variety of art mediums. She also enjoys theatre and signing.
One of Bonnie's favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 1:4 "(God) who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God."
